Complete electrophoresis systems with integrated modules for PAGE (polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis), FIE (isoelectric focusing), electroblotting and western blotting performance. Separate modules of: horizontal and vertical electrophoresis gel trays; opaque cellulose acetate cuvettes for detection and quantification of DNA damage and repair in individual cells in genetic toxicity and carcinogenicity tests; blotting units; image acquisition and analysis (gel documentation system, transilluminators); power supplies.
LED Transilluminator BLUE LIGHT-NO UV
The LED transilluminator is designed for visualizing gels on the laboratory bench or in gel documentation systems. LED light source inside the instrument that produces light with a narrow emission peak centered at approximately 470 nm, effective for excitation of nucleic acid and dyes such as EtBr, EtBr, SYBR® Safe, SYBR Gold, SYBR® Green I & II , SYPRO® Ruby, SYPRO® Orange, Coomassie Fluor™ Orange stains, GelGreen, GelRed and Lumitein™ Protein Gel Stain.
- Non-UV blue light, emission at 470nm, without risk for the user, does not damage the DNA of the sample;
- Uniform lighting (coefficient of variation <5%), high contrast;
- Adjustable intensity:100% to 50%;
- Viewing area: 16x20 cm;
- Dimensions (cm): 28 x 34 x 8;
- Warranty 2 years.
Allows the visualization of fluorophores such as: GFPs, Sybr Green, Sypro Orange, Fluorescein, among others, without the use of UV light, eliminating the risks of UV radiation and allowing to see through glass, polypropylene, acrylic, among others.
- Dimensions: 7.5x7.5x6.5cm;
- Weight: 110 gr;
- Can operate connected to the mains or with a 9V battery;
- Lighting area: 5 cm in diameter;
- Long lasting: 100,000 working hours.
NON-UV BLUE LIGHT TRANSILUMINATOR
Allows the visualization of DNA, RNA, proteins and other biological samples stained by fluorescence, without the use of UV light. They use intense pure blue light as an excitation source, avoiding the dangers and inconveniences of UV light. An amber screen is placed on top of the transilluminator, filtering the blue excitation light after illuminating the sample, allowing fluorescence to be seen.
Can be used with a variety of fluorophores (all excited between 420nm and 500nm) such as: GelGreen, Sybr Green, Sybr Gold, Atto Phos, GelStar, Sypro Ruby, Sypro Orange, ProQ Diamond, Fluorescein, GFPs, Bodipy, Hoescht 33258, Rhodamine, Ethidium Bromide, etc.
Its very high sensitivity, 100 pg of DNA, is equal to the sensitivity of laser analysis equipment, but because it does not use ultraviolet light, it does not pose any danger to the operator, does not deteriorate the samples, allowing better use of fractions and greater efficiency in the process. of cloning.
- Non-UV blue light;
- Viewing surface: 30x46 cm.
