Description
The Real Time PCR detection Kit Equine infectious anemia virus comprises a series of specific targeted reagents designed for Equine infectious anemia virus detection by using qPCR.
GENERAL INFORMATION:Equine infectious anemia virus is a lentivirus from the family Retroviridae. It causes a horse disease commonly known as swamp fever which is transmitted by body secretions, blood, or milk and bloodsucking insects mainly biting flyes. Disease usually starts with acute symptoms which are potentially fatal (not often) and a high transmission risk. The disease can become chronic if the animal survives the acute phase. Equine infectious anemia virus is endemic in the Americas, some parts of Europe, the Middle and Far East, Russia, and South Africa.
KIT CHARACTERISTICS:
- Assay Mix Target composed by singleplex mixtures of specific forward/reverse primers and probe.
- Resuspension buffer
- DNase/RNase free water
- (OPTIONAL) Internal Control Assay Mix
- Mastermix solution
- Positive control

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Foot-and-mouth disease virus
Foot-and-mouth disease virus detection test kit by using qPCR. Foot-and-Mouth disease or Hoof-and-Mouth disease (Aphthae epizooticae) is an infectious disease that affects cloven-hoofed animals, including domestic and wild animals. Foot-and-Mouth disease is highly infectious and can be spread by infected animals through aerosols, through contact with contaminated farming equipment, vehicles, clothing or feed, and by domestic and wild predators. There are seven described serotypes of this virus, A, C, O, Asia 1, SAT3, SAT 1 and SAT 2.
