Rapid Test for Salmonella - Basic is a qualitative test for the detection of Salmonella enterica serogroups A-E in food and environmental samples.

GENERAL INFORMATION:Rapid Test for Salmonella - Basic is based on a lateral-flow immunoassay that detects Salmonella antigens, which reacts on the test strip with a specific antibody bound to red particles. In this way, the appearance of a line of this colour on the test strip corresponds to a positive result. The blue line indicates the correct development of the test. Rapid Test for Salmonella - Basic allows to determine the absence of Salmonella in 25 g of food, in accordance with the current legislation (Commission Regulation (EC) No 2073/2005 and subsequent modifications).

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Salmonella spp.

Detection by using qPCR of species of the genus Salmonella. Salmonella cause illnesses such as typhoid fever, paratyphoid fever, and foodborne illnesses. Salmonella infections are zoonotic and can be transferred between humans and nonhuman animals. Many infections are due to the ingestion of contaminated food. Salmonella enterica subsp.enterica serovar Typhi can cause serious illness because of a special virulence factor and a capsule protein (virulence antigen). Salmonella typhi is adapted to humans and does not occur in other animals.
