    Background:Detection by using qPCR of species of the genus Salmonella. Salmonella is closely related to the Escherichia genus and is found worldwide in cold- and warm-blooded animals (including humans), and in the environment. They cause illnesses such as typhoid fever, paratyphoid fever, and foodborne illnesses. Salmonella infections are zoonotic and can be transferred between humans and nonhuman animals. Many infections are due to the ingestion of contaminated food. Salmonella enterica subsp.enterica serovar Typhi can cause serious illness because of a special virulence factor and a capsule protein (virulence antigen). Salmonella typhi is adapted to humans and does not occur in other animals. Salmonella species are facultative intracellular pathogens that enter cells via macropinosomes.

The genus Campylobacter comprises a diverse group of Gram-negative bacteria, which colonize the mucosal surfaces of the intestinal tracts, oral cavities, or urogenital tracts of a wide range of bird and mammal hosts. Currently, the genus Campylobacter contains more than 15 species but the most commonly isolated pathogenic species are C. jejuni, C. coli and C. fetus. C. jejuni and C. coli are responsible for human gastroenteritis and C. fetus usually causes abortions in cattle and sheep.

    Listeria ivanovii detection test kit by using qPCR. Listeria ivanovii it behaves like L. monocytogenes but is found almost exclusively in ruminants (mainly sheep). Infection with L. ivanovii can lead to septicemic disease with enteritis, neonatal sepsis and even abortion. Pregnant ruminants are therefore most at risk. Human zoonosis is described but extremely rare.
