Detection of the RNA of the the capsid protein gene of Black Queen Cell Virus (BQCV)

Background:Black queen cell virus (BQCV) is a non-enveloped single-stranded RNA virus and belongs to the Dicistroviridae family and to the genus Triatovirus. The virus is the most common cause of death in queen´s larvae and pupae after sealing their cells, especially of A. mellifera, A. florea and A. dorsata. Viral infection turn the cell wall´s and brood´s color into brown and black. The virus is transmitted through feeding of the larvae, from hive to hive and via Nosema apis as a parasitic vector. Infection of queens, young workers or adult bees could happen but without visible symptoms.

Description:ViroReal® Kit Black Queen Cell Virus is a real-time PCR for the qualitative detection of the RNA of the the capsid protein gene of Black Queen Cell Virus (BQCV). Our carefully designed primers and probes ensure the highest sensitivity and specificity. The kit consists of an assay mix for the detection of the pathogen as well as a positive control and an internal positive control (IPC) system. To minimize PCR cross-contamination, the included reaction mix contains dUTP and uracil-N glycosylase (UNG).

Product Features:
- Amplification and detection: RNA of capsid protein of Black Queen Cell Virus
- Transcription with thermostable MMLV Reverse Transcriptase
- Contains RNase Inhibitor to block RNA degradation
- Real-time PCR with rapid hot-start Taq DNA polymerase
- ROX™ dye as passive reference
- Internal Positive Control System to exclude false-negative results
- Optimized to handle PCR inhibitors
- PCR platforms: runs on all established standard real-time PCR platforms
- Harmonized thermal profiles to run RNA and DNA samples simultaneously
- Available formats: Kit (with reaction mix)

Real Time PCR Detection Kit White spot syndrome virus

White spot syndrome virus detection test kit by using qPCR. White spot syndrome virus is responsible for causing white spot syndrome in a wide range of crustacean hosts, especially penaeid shrimp. The disease is highly lethal and contagious, killing shrimps quickly. Outbreaks of this disease have wiped out within a few days entire populations of many shrimp farms throughout the world.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Foot-and-mouth disease virus type SAT3

Detection test kit of Foot-and-mouth disease virus type SAT-3 (FMDV-SAT3) species by using qPCR. Foot-and-Mouth disease or Hoof-and-Mouth disease (Aphthae epizooticae) is an infectious disease that affects cloven-hoofed animals, including domestic and wild animals. Foot-and-Mouth disease is highly infectious and can be spread by infected animals through aerosols, through contact with contaminated farming equipment, vehicles, clothing or feed, and by domestic and wild predators. There are seven described serotypes of this virus, A, C, O, Asia 1, SAT3, SAT 1 and SAT 2.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit African horse sickness virus

African horse sickness virus detection test kit by using qPCR. African horse sickness virus is a virus of the genus Orbivirus. ASHV is lethal in up to 95 % of its hosts, including horses, zebras, donkeys, camels, dogs, and mules, and despite the disease is not directly contagious it is known to be spread by insect vectors.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Classical swine fever virus

Detection test kit of Classical swine fever virus by using qPCR. Classical swine fever (CSF) or hog cholera (also sometimes called pig plague, is a highly contagious disease of pigs and wild boar. Swine fever causes fever, skin lesions, convulsions, and usually death. CSFV is closely related to the ruminant pestiviruses which cause Bovine viral diarrhea (BVDV) and Border disease (BDV).
