Description
The Real Time PCR detection Kit Porcine Full Screening Pathogens RNA Panel (Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus type 1, Swine influenza type A virus (H1N1, H3N2 and H1N2) and Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus type 2) comprises a series of specific targeted reagents designed for Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus type 1, Swine influenza type A virus (H1N1, H3N2 and H1N2) and Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus type 2 detection by using qPCR.
GENERAL INFORMATION:Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus is a small, enveloped RNA virus, which contains a single-stranded, positive-sense, RNA genome belonging to the genus Arterivirus. It causes a disease of pigs, called porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome, also known as blue-ear pig disease, characterized by reproductive failure in breeding stock and respiratory tract illness in young pigs. This pathogen can be divided into two genotypes: European (type 1) and the North American (type 2). Although these two genotypes differ greatly in their antigenic properties and genetic content, both cause almost similar syndromes. Influenza type A viruses, part of the Orthomyxoviridae family, are segmented RNA viruses. Swine influenza type A, caused by strains like H1N1, H1N2, and H3N2, affects pigs globally. Symptoms include fever, lethargy, sneezing, coughing, difficulty breathing, and reduced appetite, with rare cases leading to abortion. Despite the possibility of transmission of the virus from pigs to humans, is not common and does not represent a risk for human health. Swine infection can lead to weight loss and poor growth, resulting in economic losses for farmers. However, as Influenza virus are fast-evolving microorganisms, the inclusivity cannot be ensured for some new clonal strains of the virus.
KIT CHARACTERISTICS:
- Assay Mix Target composed by singleplex mixtures of specific forward/reverse primers and probe.
- Resuspension buffer
- DNase/RNase free water
- (OPTIONAL) Internal Control Assay Mix
- Mastermix solution
- Positive control

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Interleukin 6 Chicken
Detect expression of Interleukin 6 Chicken by using qPCR. Interleukin-6 is a multifunctional cytokine that plays a major role in regulating immune responses and acute phase reactions. It is produced by many different cell types and acts on B lymphocytes, T lymphocytes, hepatocytes, hematopoietic progenitor cells, and cells of the central nervous system. IL-6 stimulates the inflammatory and auto-immune processes in many diseases such as diabetes, atherosclerosis, depression, Alzheimer’s Disease, systemic lupus erythematosus, multiple myeloma, prostate cancer, Behçet’s disease, and rheumatoid arthritis. Circumstantial evidence has suggested that a functional homolog of mammalian IL-6 exists in chickens. IL-6 is one of the most pleiotropic interleukins released at sites of injury or infection.
