Class II biological safety cabinets are laminar flow chambers ideal for protecting the operator, the product, and the environment. The chamber operates under negative pressure, preventing the release of contaminated air into the environment. Designed to offer complete protection, the air circulating inside the chamber is filtered by a HEPA filter (99.999% efficiency), and the replacement air is also filtered through another HEPA filter. They also have an air velocity compensation system before the filter resistance increases and alarms in case of power supply failures. These chambers are used in different research areas, such as microbiology, virology, and genetics, and in various service laboratories where moderately hazardous biological samples are handled.

- Extraction airflow 30% and recirculation 70%, depending on the model.
