The Real Time PCR detection Kit Swine Polyserositis Panel (Haemophilus parasuis, Mycoplasma hyorhinis and Streptococcus suis) comprises a series of specific targeted reagents designed for Haemophilus parasuis, Mycoplasma hyorhinis and Streptococcus suis detection by using qPCR.

GENERAL INFORMATION:Polyserositis is a frequent disease in swine, which is characterised by fibrinous pleuritis, pericarditis or peritonitis, frequently associated with arthritis and meningitis. Young pigs, usually 4-to-8 weeks old, are the predominantly affected population. Haemophilus parasuis, Mycoplasma hyorhinis and Streptococcus suis microorganisms are part of the natural microbiome of swine, nevertheless, infection with certain strains may lead to the apparition of the disease. Haemophilus parasuis is a small, pleomorphic, Gram-negative rod which is present in all major swine-rearing countries and remains a significant pathogen in pig farms. Mycoplasma hyorhinis is characterised by the lack of a cell wall and causing that affected pigs may die suddenly or develop chronic arthritis. Streptococcus suis is a Gram-positive, facultatively anaerobic, non-motile bacterium with a worldwide distribution which infection may result in swine streptococcosis. Transmission usually occurs by mixing healthy carrier pigs with other individuals.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae omlA-genotype Panel

Designed for Detection test kit of the five variants of the membrane protein omlA of the Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae (omlA I, omlA II, omlA III+IV, omlA IV and omlA V) by using qPCR. Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae (previously Haemophilus pleuropneumoniae), is a respiratory pathogen found in pigs and was found to be the causative agent for up to 20% of all bacterial pneumonia cases in swine. Due to omlA nucleotide sequence differences, isolates can be separated into five groups related with the different serotypes. As the sequences of the omlA III and omlA IV are highly conserved, omlA III positives must be inferred from two different tests. Positives for omlA III are positive for omlA III+IV and negatives for omlA IV.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Canine diseases Panel

Canine diseases Ehrlichia spp., Anaplasma spp., Babesia spp., Leishmania spp., Brucella spp. and Dirofilaria immitis detection test kit by using qPCR. Infectious diseases in dogs are caused by a wide variety of infectious agents including viruses, bacteria, and parasites (protozoa and helminths). Most of them have their own morbidity and mortality in dogs and some of these infections are of zoonotic relevance, thus also posing a risk to the human population. Among the most common infections in dogs are Ehrlichia spp., Anaplasma spp., Babesia spp., Leishmania spp., Brucella spp., Dirofilaria immitis.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Mycoplasmas Contagious Agalactia Panel

Detection test kit of four species of Mycoplasma (M. agalactiae, M. mycoides, M. capricolum and M. putrefaciens) by using qPCR. Contagious agalactia is a mycoplasmal disease of sheep and goats that can cause serious economic losses from mastitis, polyarthritis and keratoconjunctivitis. Contagious agalactia is classically caused by infection with Mycoplasma agalactiae, but M. capricolum, M. putrefaciens and M. mycoides subsp. capri can also cause this disease.
