GENERAL INFORMATION:African swine fever virus is the causative agent of African swine fever. It is a large, double-stranded DNA virus which replicates in the cytoplasm of infected cells, and it is the only member of the Asfarviridae family. African swine fever virus is the only virus with a DNA genome transmitted by arthropods. The virus causes a haemorrhagic fever with high mortality rates in pigs, but persistently infects its natural hosts, warthogs, bushpigs and soft ticks of the Ornithodoros genus, with no disease signs. Infected pigs exhibit symptoms such as high fever, hemorrhages, lethargy, and high mortality rates. African swine fever virus is endemic to sub-Saharan Africa and exists in the wild through a cycle of infection between ticks and wild pigs, bushpigs and warthogs. The assay contains the primers and probe of the reference method recommended by the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) based on Fernandez-Pinero 2013.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit African horse sickness virus

African horse sickness virus detection test kit by using qPCR. African horse sickness virus is a virus of the genus Orbivirus. ASHV is lethal in up to 95 % of its hosts, including horses, zebras, donkeys, camels, dogs, and mules, and despite the disease is not directly contagious it is known to be spread by insect vectors.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Classical swine fever virus

Detection test kit of Classical swine fever virus by using qPCR. Classical swine fever (CSF) or hog cholera (also sometimes called pig plague, is a highly contagious disease of pigs and wild boar. Swine fever causes fever, skin lesions, convulsions, and usually death. CSFV is closely related to the ruminant pestiviruses which cause Bovine viral diarrhea (BVDV) and Border disease (BDV).

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Foot-and-mouth disease virus type SAT2 topotype XIV

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Rift valley fever virus

Detection test kit of all serotypes of Rift valley fever virus species by using qPCR. Rift valley fever virus (RVFV) is responsible for Rift valley fever, a viral zoonosis that primarily affects animals but also has the capacity to infect humans. Infection can cause severe diseases in both animals and humans. The virus is transmitted through mosquito vectors, as well as through contact with the tissue of infected animals. Contact with infected tissue is considered to be the main source of human infections. The disease also results in significant economic losses due to death and abortion among RVF-infected livestock.
