Technology	Lateral Flow Test

The Rapid Test CP4 EPSPS is an advanced lateral flow test designed for quantifying the CP4 EPSPS protein in soybean and corn seeds. Results are expressed as %GMO, with a quantification range of 0-2% GMO. The Limit of Detection is 0.04% for soybean seeds and 0.1% for corn seeds.

GENERAL INFORMATION:Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) are organisms whose genetic material has been altered through genetic engineering techniques. They are commonly used in agriculture to confer traits such as resistance to pests, diseases and herbicides. One essential component in many genetically modified crops is the CP4 EPSPS protein, derived from the bacterium Agrobacterium strain CP4. The expression of the CP4 EPSPS protein provides plants with resistance to glyphosate-based herbicides like Roundup.
