This real-time PCR kit with Internal Positive Control (IPC) enables detection of the eo-1ALFA genetic modification in AquAdvantage® Salmon (AAS), a genetically modified Atlantic salmon developed by AquaBounty Technologies that grows to market size approximately twice as fast as conventional salmon.
With 96 reactions per kit, it supports regulatory monitoring of GM fish in food products and aquaculture supply chains, particularly in markets where GM animal products require labelling.
