Description
The BACGene E. coli O157:H7 real-time PCR detection kit provides materials for a rapid and reliable detection of O157:H7 serogroup with which has caused several foodborne outbreaks. This kit allows the detection and identification of O157:H7 with the option of reporting O157 (excluding H7) or O157:H7 specifically. In combination with the BACGene Mplex SEROtype kits this assay enables the detection of all of the Top7 STEC. Detects DNA in several food products and environmental samples from food production facilities.
The kit is intended to be used in analytical laboratories and may also be applied for other purposes in food product research and analysis fields, e.g. microbial monitoring of production processes.
The BACGene E. coli O157:H7 kit provides materials for the qualitative detection of Escherichia coli O157:H7 in food and environmental samples when monitoring production processes by targeting the O157-antigen specific gene and the flagellar (H) antigen in a probe-based real-time PCR approach. The BACGene E. coli O157:H7 kit is validated for use with the Agilent AriaMx™, Bio-Rad CFX96 Touch™ and Opus (standard and Deep Well) PCR platforms.
This kit can be combined with PCR workflows to remove free DNA prior to lysis through enzymatic digestion - PREraser BACGene (5123222301)
Kit formats:
- BACGene E. coli O157:H7 (96 rxn) (5123222701)
- BACGene E. coli O157:H7 (96x10 rxn) (5123222711)
AOAC and AFNOR Certification (please confirm the validated equipment)

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Vibrio cholerae Tx
Detection test kit of pathogenic strains of Vibrio cholerae by using qPCR. Some strains of V. cholerae cause the disease cholera. V. cholerae pathogenicity genes code for proteins directly or indirectly involved in the virulence of the bacteria. During infection, V. cholerae secretes cholera toxin, a protein that causes profuse, watery diarrhea. Colonization of the small intestine also requires the toxin coregulated pilus, a thin, flexible, filamentous appendage on the surface of bacterial cells.

Condagene E. coli O157:H7 / O157 (duplex)
Real time PCR test detection of E. coli O157 and allows the simultaneous Food PCR test detection of the serotype O157:H7 in food products, animal feedstuff and environmental samples. Pre-enrichment according to ISO/TS 13136 is recommended or from E. coli isolated colonies. For use in real time instruments with FAM, HEX/VIC and ROX channels.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Escherichia coli O157:H7
Detection test kit of Escherichia coli O157:H7 by using qPCR. Escherichia coli O157:H7 is an enterohemorrhagic strain of the bacterium Escherichia coli and a cause of illness through food. Infection may lead to hemorrhagic diarrhea, and to kidney failure. Transmission is via the fecal-oral route, and most illness has been through undercooked, contaminated ground beef or ground pork being eaten.
