Water distillers-stills

Equipment that guarantees the quality of water used and suitable for laboratory work. Several purification methods may be present: absorption, deionization, distillation, demineralization, filtration, reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, UV oxidation. The purity of water can be classified into three classes: type 1 (ultrapure water, 18.2 MΩ), type II (pure water, 1 to 15 MΩ), type III (reverse osmosis water) and type IV (cartridge/filter system water). The water supply sources can vary from tap water to distilled, deionized or reverse osmosis (RO) water. Several models are available according to the needs and applications required by each user.

12L WATER DISTILLERS
The ND series water distillers, designed to be wall-mounted or placed on a countertop, provide high-quality distilled water that meets international pharmacopoeia requirements, free of bacteria and pyrogens with minimized gaseification. They are made of stainless steel and include a boiling tank, storage tank, and condenser, with pressure gauges for vapor measurement. The system has safety features and LED alerts for high/low water pressure, heater failure, and full/half-full storage tank. CO2 degassing is performed through the gas exhaust tube, and energy consumption is reduced by using chilled water for heating the distilled water. The conductivity of distilled water is approximately 2.5 μ Siemens/cm at 20°C, depending on the quality of the input water. Other models with smaller dimensions and capacities are also available.

Specifications:
- Boiling tank, storage tank, and condenser made of stainless steel;
- Cartridge filter to prevent calcification in the heater;
- Maximum capacity of 12 L of distilled water per hour;
- Maximum storage tank capacity of 24 L;
- Cooling water consumption of 120 L/h;
- Energy consumption of 3x 3000 W;
- Dimensions (LxWxH): 82 x 39.5 x 71 cm.

V30 WATER SOFTENERS
The V30 water softeners are fully automatic and require no maintenance. They have a high capacity to remove calcium and magnesium ions from tap water, reducing hardness to almost zero. This increases the efficiency and viability of many devices and components, indirectly reducing operational costs. The treatment involves the removal of dissolved ions from water through strongly acidic cation exchange resins that are automatically regenerated.

Specifications:
- Corrosion-resistant fiberglass tank;
- Pre-filtration with a 5 µm sediment filter;
- 32 dm3 of resin quantity;
- Maximum salt tank capacity of 125 kg;
- 141 dm3 of water consumption for regeneration;
- Energy consumption of 17 W;
- Dimensions (LxWxH): 34.5 x 65.8 x 108 cm.
