INTENDED USE:RNP 70 Ab ELISA is a test system for the quantitative measurement of IgG class autoantibodies against RNP 70 in human serum or plasma. This product is intended for professional in vitro diagnostic use only.

GENERAL INFORMATION: RNP 70, the 70 kDa protein of the U1-snRNP complex, is one of the extractable nuclear antigens (ENA). It is useful for the diagnosis of mixed connective tissue disease (MCTD, Sharp syndrome) and related autoimmune diseases. In sera of up to 100°% of MCTD patients anti-RNP-70 antibodies may be detectable. Evaluation of a test result should always take into account all clinical and laboratory diagnostic findings.
