Description
The Real Time PCR Detection Kit Poliovirus comprises a series of specific targeted reagents designed for Poliovirus detection by using qPCR.
GENERAL INFORMATION:Poliovirus is a serotype of the Enterovirus C species, a non-enveloped RNA virus of the Enterovirus genus belonging to the Picornaviridae family. It is the causative agent of poliomyelitis, commonly known as polio, a disease that primarily affects humans, especially children under the age of five, and in severe cases can lead to paralysis.
The virus initially infects the gastrointestinal tract but can spread to the central nervous system, causing inflammation and damage to motor neurons. Symptoms include fever, fatigue, headache, vomiting, neck stiffness and limb pain, and in rare cases, irreversible paralysis, which can be fatal. Poliovirus is highly contagious and is transmitted mainly through the faecal-oral route and through contaminated water or food. Its global distribution has been significantly reduced through widespread vaccination efforts, and eradication initiatives are underway in endemic regions such as Afghanistan and Pakistan. The assay detects all three Poliovirus serotypes and most Coxsackievirus serotypes within the Enterovirus C species.
KIT CHARACTERISTICS:
Assay Mix Target composed by singleplex mixtures of specific forward/reverse primers and probe.
- Resuspension buffer
DNase/RNase free water
- (OPTIONAL) Internal Control Assay Mix
- Mastermix solution
- Positive control

qPCR Detection test kit of both Herpes simplex virus type I (HSV-I), also known as Human herpesvirus type 1 (HHV-1). Herpes simplex is a viral disease from the herpes viridae family caused by both virus types 1 and 2. Oral herpes, the visible symptoms of which are colloquially called cold sores or fever blisters, is an infection of the face or mouth. Genital herpes, known simply as herpes. Other disorders such as herpetic whitlow, herpes gladiatorum, ocular herpes, cerebral herpes infection encephalitis, Mollaret’s meningitis, neonatal herpes, and possibly Bell’s palsy are all caused by herpes simplex viruses.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Human cytomegalovirus
Detection test kit of Human cytomegalovirus by using qPCR. Known as Herpesviridae or herpesviruses, HCMV or HCMV or human herpesvirus-5 (HHV-5). HCMV infections are frequently associated with the salivary glands. HCMV infection can be life-threatening for the immunocompromised, such as HIV-infected persons, organ transplant recipients, or newborn infants. When occoured congenital HCMV infection moost babies appear healthy at birth, but most common is developing cerebral calcification (decreasing IQ levels dramatically and causing sensorineural deafness and psychomotor retardation).
