Description
Enzyme immunoassay for the quantitative measurement of human placenta growth factor (PLGF) in serum.
INTENDED USE:The PLGF ELISA is an enzyme immunoassay for the quantitative in vitro diagnostic measurement of human placenta growth factor (PLGF) in serum. It can be used as a diagnostic aid to estimate the probability of preeclampsia for pregnant women.
GENERAL INFORMATION:Agiogenesis and vascular transformation are important processes in the normal development of the placenta. Abnormal angiogenesis and vascular transformation are considered to be one of the main reasons for preeclamptic pregnancies and intrauterine growth retardation. Placental growth factor PLGF, a member of the VEGF family, is produced mainly by the placenta and is a potent angiogenic factor. The corresponding receptor, the soluble fms-like tyrosine kinase-1 is considered to have angiogenic properties.
KIT CHARACTERISTICS:
- Method: ELISA
- Tests: 96
- Incubation Time / Conditions: 30 min, 1 h, 30, 30 min (RT)
- Standard Range: 25 - 1,000 pg/ml
- Sensitivity analytical: < 1.062 pg/ml
- Final Sample Volume: 25 µl
- Sample Type: serum
- Isotope / Substrate: TMB 450 nm
- Internal Controls: 2
- Regulatory Status: CE
