GENERAL INFORMATION:Anaplasma is a genus of rickettsial bacteria belonging to the Ehrlichiaceae family. Anaplasmas live in the blood cells of the host and cause the disease anaplasmosis. An intermediate tick host is required for maturation. One of the major consequences of infection with Anaplasma is the development of haemolytic anaemia due to the damage done to red blood cells. Some species within the genus of veterinary interest include A. marginale, A. centrale in cattle; A. mesaeterum, A. ovis in sheep and goats and A. phagocytophilum in dogs, cats and horses. A. phagocytophilum can also infect humans. Trypanosomes are unicellular, eukaryotic parasites of the mammalian bloodstream that cause a major health and economic burden in communities with endemic circulating strains. The subgenus Trypanozoon is composed by the species Trypanosoma brucei, responsible of nagana and sleeping sickness; T. evansi, causes surra; and T. equiperdum, responsible for horse dourine. The species within the Trypanozoon taxa are morphologically indistinguishable, with the main differences between them being the host or the insect vector that enables their distribution.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Cytauxzoon spp.

Cytauxzoon spp. detection test kit by using qPCR. Cytauxzoon spp. is a tick-borne protozoan parasite. Some Cytauxzoon species infect wild and domestic felids causing a severe, and often fatal disease. Clinical signs are the result of severe intravascular hemolysis and include anemia, icterus, hepatomegaly, and splenomegaly.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Hepatozoon spp.

Detection test kit of Hepatozoon spp. species by using qPCR. Hepatozoon is a genus of Apicomplexan protozoa. Despite their prevalence in amphibians and reptiles, the genus is better known in veterinary circles for causing a tick-borne disease called hepatozoonosis in some mammals. Hepatozoonosis results when an animal eats an infected tick (the disease is not spread by tick bites). Some species included are Hepatozoon muris and Hepatozoon canis, which typically infect mice and dogs.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Neospora spp.

Neospora spp. detection test kit by using qPCR. Neospora is s pathogen recently identified as causing neosporosis in cattle and dogs. The dog is the definitive host, cattle are the intermediate host and other mammalian species may act as incidental hosts. Neosporosis causes abortions in cattle and neuromuscular degeneration in dogs which led to hind limb paralysis.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Theileria spp.

Theileria spp. detection test kit by using qPCR. Theileria is a genus of parasitic protozoan closely related to Plasmodium. The organism is transmitted by various tick species including Rhipicephalus, Dermacentor, and Haemaphysalis. Two Theileria species, T. annulata and T. parva, are important cattle parasites. T. annulata causes tropical theileriosis and T. parva causes East Coast fever. T. equi is a known cause of equine piroplasmosis.
