DNAnimal Screen Ruminant IPC
Real-time PCR kit for the qualitative detection of ruminant DNA in food and feed samples.
The DNAnimal Screen Ruminant IPC kit is designed for the broad screening of ruminant DNA in food and feed matrices from which DNA of sufficient quality and quantity can be extracted. It serves as an efficient first-line screening tool prior to species-specific identification using individual DNAnimal kits. Please note that this assay does not detect DNA from giraffes or chevrotains (mouse-deer).
An Internal Positive Control (IPC) is included in the Master Mix and is co-amplified in every reaction to monitor PCR inhibition, ensuring reliable results and minimizing the risk of false-negative outcomes.
