DNAnimal Screen Halal IPC (LR)
Multiplex real-time PCR kit for the simultaneous qualitative detection of pork, horse and donkey DNA in food and feed samples.
The DNAnimal Screen Halal IPC (LR) kit is designed for the simultaneous detection of pork and horse/donkey DNA in food and feed matrices from which DNA of sufficient quality and quantity can be extracted. The assay enables efficient screening for animal species that are non-compliant with Halal and Kosher requirements, making it an ideal solution for food authenticity and regulatory compliance testing. This kit is not recommended for samples with a known high content of one of the target species due to asymmetric target situations.
An Internal Positive Control (IPC) is included in the Master Mix and is co-amplified in every reaction to monitor PCR inhibition, ensuring reliable results and minimizing the risk of false-negative outcomes.
