DNAnimal Mplex Goat/Pig/Bison
Multiplex real-time PCR kit for the simultaneous qualitative detection of goat, pig and bison DNA in food and feed samples.
The DNAnimal Mplex Goat/Pig/Bison kit is designed for the simultaneous detection of mitochondrial goat (Capra hircus), pig (Sus scrofa) and bison (Bison bison) DNA in food and feed matrices from which DNA of sufficient quality and quantity can be extracted. The multiplex assay enables efficient species identification in a single reaction, reducing analysis time while supporting food authenticity, food safety and regulatory compliance testing. Mitochondrial DNA is used as the target to provide high sensitivity, including in processed food samples.
An Internal Positive Control (IPC) is included in the Master Mix and is co-amplified in every reaction to monitor PCR inhibition, ensuring reliable results and minimizing the risk of false-negative outcomes.
