DNAnimal Ident Turkey IPC
Real-time PCR detection of turkey (Meleagris gallopavo) DNA in animal-derived samples.
This real-time PCR kit provides reliable qualitative detection of turkey DNA in food and feed samples from which DNA of sufficient quality and quantity has been extracted. It includes an internal positive control (IPC), allowing the identification of PCR inhibition in every reaction and reducing the risk of false-negative results. The assay is based on target-specific primers and fluorescent hydrolysis probes, ensuring high specificity and sensitivity for turkey DNA detection.
The kit is suitable for food authenticity testing, species identification, food fraud investigations and regulatory compliance. It has been validated for use on a range of commonly used real-time PCR instruments, including Agilent Mx3005P™/Mx3000P™, Applied Biosystems™ 7500 and 7500 Fast (standard mode), Roche LightCycler® 480 (with colour compensation) and Applied Biosystems™ 7900 (ABI7900).
