DNAnimal Ident Pork IPC
Real-time PCR kit for the qualitative detection of porcine DNA in food and feed samples.
The DNAnimal Ident Pork IPC kit is designed for the qualitative detection of porcine DNA in food and feed matrices from which DNA of sufficient quality and quantity can be extracted. The assay detects DNA from both domestic pig (Sus scrofa domestica) and wild boar (Sus scrofa scrofa), without differentiation between the two. It is suitable for species authentication, food fraud detection and regulatory compliance testing.
An Internal Positive Control (IPC) is included in the Master Mix and is co-amplified in every reaction to monitor PCR inhibition, ensuring reliable results and minimizing the risk of false-negative outcomes.
