DNAnimal Ident Chicken IPC (LR)
Real-time PCR detection of chicken (Gallus gallus) DNA in animal-derived samples.
The DNAnimal Ident Chicken IPC (LR) real-time PCR detection kit is designed for the qualitative detection of chicken DNA in food and feed samples from which DNA of sufficient quality and quantity can be extracted. The assay provides reliable species identification for food authenticity testing, regulatory compliance and the detection of food fraud.
The test is based on real-time PCR technology using species-specific primers and fluorescent hydrolysis probes for the specific detection of chicken DNA. An Internal Positive Control (IPC), included in the Master Mix, is co-amplified in every reaction to monitor PCR inhibition and ensure the validity of negative results, reducing the risk of false-negative interpretations.
The kit is compatible with a wide range of commonly used real-time PCR instruments, including Bio-Rad CFX96 Touch™, Agilent AriaMx™, Agilent Mx3005P™/Mx3000P™, Thermo Fisher Applied Biosystems™ 7500/7500 Fast (standard mode), and Roche LightCycler® 480 (with colour compensation).
