DNAnimal Ident Beef IPC
Real-time PCR kit for the qualitative detection of bovine DNA in food and feed samples.
The DNAnimal Ident Beef IPC kit is designed for the qualitative detection of bovine DNA in food and feed matrices from which DNA of sufficient quality and quantity can be extracted. The assay detects DNA from cattle (Bos taurus) as well as other bovine species including zebu (Bos indicus), yak (Bos mutus), bison (Bison spp.) and gaur (Bos frontalis). The kit does not detect water buffalo (Bubalus bubalis) DNA. It is suitable for species authentication, food fraud detection and regulatory compliance testing.
An Internal Positive Control (IPC) is included in the Master Mix and is co-amplified in every reaction to monitor PCR inhibition, ensuring reliable results and minimizing the risk of false-negative outcomes.
