Cylindrospermopsin Dipstick Test Kit (QuikLyse™)
The Cylindrospermopsin Dipstick Test Kit (QuikLyse™) is a rapid screening test for the qualitative detection of cylindrospermopsin, a cyanobacterial toxin, in fresh water samples.
Cylindrospermopsin is produced by several cyanobacterial strains and has been detected in freshwater environments worldwide. Exposure may occur through the ingestion of contaminated drinking or recreational water, consumption of contaminated food such as fish, or dermal contact during water-related activities. The toxin can affect liver function and inhibit protein synthesis and glutathione, potentially leading to cellular damage.
The integrated QuikLyse™ technology simplifies sample preparation and enables rapid testing without the need for complex laboratory equipment. This makes the dipstick format particularly suitable for field screening, water treatment plants and laboratories requiring fast preliminary results.
Available formats:
520029: 5 tests
520030: 20 tests
Ideal for: Water treatment plants, field testing, environmental monitoring and laboratories requiring rapid cylindrospermopsin screening.
