The BACGene GO Listeria method is a qualitative real-time PCR assay for the detection of Listeria spp. BACGene GO Workflow: 2 Simple Steps and GO Streamline your lab operations in two simple steps—delivering powerful, efficient, and seamless pathogen detection. Precision meets simplicity with the BACGene GO workflow. Enrichment: Enrich according to food matrix type or environmental sample: Transfer an aliquot to a cluster tube. Lysis: Transfer aliquots to the ready-to-use lysis plate. Shake at 2000rpm, for 10 minutes. PCR: Transfer the lysate to ready-to-use PCR plate. Insert into PCR device. Run for 60’. Evaluate with PURE software.

Speed: short time to results thanks to short enrichment times; Rapid mechanical lysis: 10 minutes; Fast RT-PCR run: 60 minutes.

Simplicity: Harmonized protocol across the pathogen panel; Harmonized protocol across all main food matrices; Just remember: 20μL in, shake, 20μL out — done! No special tools required — no capping/uncapping hassle.

Reliability: Mechanical lysis with ready-to-use bead lysis tubes; Pierceable caps: no need for opening or closing tubes; Ready-to-use PCR plates with color-coded lyophilized reagents for visual check of handling; UNG enzyme included to prevent carry-over contamination; Built-in positive control; NF Validation by AFNOR Certification and AOAC-PTM for validated performance Flexibility.

Validated with multiple RT-PCR platforms: GSD Cycler, CFX Opus, QuantStudio 5 Fast; PURE Cloud-based software for fast and secure result interpretation.
