DESCRIPTION:
This real-time PCR (qPCR) kit allows detecting both porcine Rotavirus A and C in the same reaction

SUMMARY AND EXPLANATION:
Many infectious agents (bacteria, viruses, protozoa) can cause diarrhea in piglets before and after weaning. Among these, Rotavirus occupy an important place. When facing diarrhea problems, it is important to identify the agents involved in order to implement appropriate control measures. Until recently, only Rotavirus A (RVA) was known to infect pigs. It is also the only Rotavirus for which a commercial vaccine is available. Recently, it appeared that other Rotavirus, such as types B (RVB) and C (RVC) were also involved.

CHARACTERISTICS:
- Test per kit: 50 samples
- qPCR Results within two hours

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Rotavirus type A

Rotavirus type A detection test kit by using qPCR. Rotavirus is the most common cause of severe vomiting and diarrhea among infants and young children below the age of five. Viral diarrhea is highly contagious. In addition, rotaviruses infect the young of many species of animals and they are a major cause of diarrhea in wild and reared animals worldwide. As a pathogen of livestock, notably in young calves and piglets, rotaviruses cause economic loss to farmers.

REAL TIME PCR DETECTION TEST KIT Porcine circovirus type 2 and 3 (PCV2-PCV3) duplex Swinecheck

This kit is a qPCR assay that allows detecting Porcine circovirus type 2 and 3 in porcine sample

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Foot-and-mouth disease virus type C

Detection test kit of Foot-and-mouth disease virus type C (FMDV-C) species by using qPCR. Foot-and-Mouth disease or Hoof-and-Mouth disease (Aphthae epizooticae) is an infectious disease that affects cloven-hoofed animals, including domestic and wild animals. Foot-and-Mouth disease is highly infectious and can be spread by infected animals through aerosols, through contact with contaminated farming equipment, vehicles, clothing or feed, and by domestic and wild predators. There are seven described serotypes of this virus, A, C, O, Asia 1, SAT3, SAT 1 and SAT 2.

REAL TIME PCR DETECTION TEST KIT Influenza Virus (SIV) type A Swinecheck

qPCR kit for the detection of Influenza Virus (SIV) type A in various pig samples (lungs, oral fluids, nasal secretions, etc.)

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Bovine rotavirus A

Detection test kit of Bovine rotavirus A by using qPCR. Rotaviruses are the most common cause of neonatal calf diarrhea, they most often affect calves that are 4-14 days old but are also probably in younger and older calves. Group A rotaviruses have a high prevalence of infection and transmission generally occurs as a result of oral contact with infected feces.
