This Protozoan parasites multiplex qPCR kit is design for the detection and specific identification of Cryptosporidium spp, Giardia duodenalis (also known as G. intestinalis or G. lamblia), Tritrichomonas foetus (new proposed name T. blagburni) and Toxoplasma gondii

DESCRIPTION:
This Protozoan parasites multiplex qPCR is design for the detection and specific identification of G. duodenalis, Cryptosporidium spp, Tritrichomonas foetus and Toxoplasma gondii, respectively.

SUMMARY AND EXPLANATION:
Protozoa are single-celled microorganisms some of which can cause digestive disorders in various animal species. In dogs and cats the main pathogenic species are: Cryptosporidium spp, Giardia duodenalis (also known as G. intestinalis or G. lamblia), Tritrichomonas foetus (new proposed name T. blagburni) and Toxoplasma gondii. Protozoan infections can result in acute and chronic diarrhoea, along with retarded growth. The identification of the protozoan species is pivotal for effectively preventing, treating and control them.

CHARACTERISTICS:
- Test per kit: 50 samples
- qPCR Results within two hours

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Giardia spp.

Giardia spp. detection test kit by using qPCR. Giardia is a flagellated protozoon that causes enteric infection giardiasis in dogs and occasionally cats, reptiles, and humans; it is a condition of significant zoonotic concern. Signs vary from acute to chronic or intermittent diarrhea. Transmission is via cysts that are shed in the feces or water.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Trypanosoma vivax

Trypanosoma vivax detection test kit by using qPCR. Trypanosoma vivax is the causative agent of the disease nagana, also known as animal trypanosomiasis, affecting cattle and wild mammals. Symptoms of T. vivax include fever, anorexia, lethargy, anemia, progressive emaciation, a rapid decline in milk production, stillborn offspring, and a return to oestrus. T. vivax transmission occurs through a biological vector, the tsetse fly.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Giardia intestinalis

Giardia intestinalis detection test kit by using qPCR. Also known as Giardia lamblia it colonizes and reproduces in the small intestine, causing giardiasis. Infection usually occurs through ingestion of G. intestinalis cysts in water (including both unfiltered drinking water and recreational waters) or food contaminated by the feces of infected humans or animals. G. intestinalis infects humans, but it is also one of the most common parasites infecting cats, dogs and birds. Mammalian hosts also include cattle, beavers, deer, and sheep.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Leishmania spp.

Detection by using qPCR of species of the genus Leishmania (Leishmania major, L. tropica, L. infantum, L. chagasi, L. donovani, L. mexicana venezuelensis, L. aethiopica, L. amazonensis, L. mexicana amazonensis, L. turanica, L. gerbilli, L. panamensis, L. braziliensis, etc.). Leishmania is a genus of Trypanosomatidprotozoa and is the parasite responsible for the disease leishmaniasis. Their primary hosts are vertebrates; Leishmania commonly infects hyraxes, canids, rodents, and humans.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Babesia spp.

Babesia spp. detection test kit by using qPCR. Babesia (also called nuttallia) is a genus of protozoan Apicomplexan piroplasms that infect the blood and cause a parasitic, hemolytic disease known as babesiosis. Causes serious illness for wild and domesticated animals, especially cattle and some strains in humans.
