REAL TIME PCR DETECTION TEST KIT Bovine respiratory multiplex (BRM)-Bacteria Bovichek

The Bovine respiratory multiplex (BRM)-Bacteria qPCR kit allows to detect in bovine sample Mycoplasma bovis (M. bovis), Mannheimia haemolytica (M. haemolytica), Pasteurella multocida (P. multocida) and Histophilus somni (H. somni) pathogens in the same reaction with a high sensitivity.

BACKGROUND:
Bovine respiratory multiplex (BRM)-Bacteria qPCR kit

MAJOR ADVANTAGES:
- Easy. All necessary reagents included in a single-tube reaction (oneMIX).
- Fast. Results obtained in less than 90 minutes.
- Highly sensitive. Limit of detection (LOD) around 10^2 copies per reaction.
- Synthetic positive control allowing the setting of standard curves for a wide dynamic range of quantification.
- Endogenous Control allowing avoiding false negative results.
- Reliable. Assays validated in silico and with reference strains, field isolates and clinical specimens.
- Convenient. Uniform thermal conditions allowing detection of several pathogens in the same run.
-Detailed documentation including user manual, quick protocol and certificate of analysis.

Bovine respiratory disease complex (BRDC) is one of the most economically significant diseases of cattle. Various pathogens, including both viruses and bacteria, are involved in the development of BRDC. Several bacterial pathogens are known to be involved in BRDC including Mycoplasma bovis (M. bovis), Mannheimia haemolytica (M. haemolytica), Pasteurella multocida (P. multocida) and Histophilus somni (H. somni). Given multifactorial etiology of BRDC, the most appropriate method to detect pathogens involved is Real-Time qPCR (RT-qPCR). Indeed it is faster, more sensitive and specific than traditional bacteriological culture. Moreover, its multiplexing capacity allows simultaneous detection of several pathogens at the same time allowing to reduce the cost of testing. The Biovet Bovichek® BRM-Virus qPCR kit is intended to detect M. bovis, M. haemolytica, P. multocida and H. somni infection in the same reaction with a high sensitivity.
