This real-time PCR (qPCR) kit allows detecting Salmonella Dublin, Typhimurium and Salmonella spp

DESCRIPTION:
REAL TIME PCR DETECTION KIT Salmonella Dublin, Typhimurium and Salmonella spp Bovichek triplex contains VIC, FAM and ABY labeled probes for the specific identification and quantification of Salmonella spp, S. Dublin, and S. Typhimurium respectively.
This kit provides every component of the qPCR reaction (buffers, enzyme, dNTPs, specific primers and probes for the pathogens.
A synthetic Salmonella spp, S. Dublin, and S. Typhimurium positive control is provided for relative and absolute quantification.

SUMMARY AND EXPLANATION:
Salmonella enterica subspecies enterica is a major pathogen in various animal species including cattle. In this species, the two most important serovars are Typhimurium and Dublin. Serovar Typhimurium is mainly causing enteritis. By contrast serovar Dublin is particularly adapted to this species (host-adapted) and, in addition to enteritis, it may also cause severe systemic infections such as septicemia, pneumonia, polyarthritis, or abortion. Sensitive and specific detection of Salmonella serovars from biological or environmental samples is essential to implement efficient control measures adapted to the serovar involved. Combining selective enrichment with real time PCR greatly improves the sensitivity of Salmonella spp detection, especially S. Dublin, while providing next-day results.
This is a triplex real-time PCR which allows rapid, sensitive, and specific detection of Salmonella spp, S. Dublin, and S. Typhimurium, especially after selective enrichment.

CHARACTERISTICS:

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Campylobacter coli

Detection test kit of Campylobacter coli by using qPCR. Campylobacter coli usually lives in the intestinal tract of animals. C. coli is very similar to its bacteria relative, Campylobacter jejuni; both cause inflammation of the intestine and cause diarrhea in infected animals and humans. C. coli is of the worldwide prevalence and is common in both developed and developing countries with most outbreaks related to food or water-borne causes.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Brucella spp.

Brucella spp. detection test kit by using qPCR. Brucella is the cause of brucellosis, which is zoonosis. It is transmitted by ingesting contaminated food, direct contact with an infected animal, or inhalation of aerosols. Some of the names for brucellosis include (human disease/animal disease): Malta fever/Bang’s disease, Undulant fever/enzootic abortion, Mediterranean fever/epizootic abortion, Rock fever of Gibraltar/slinking of calves, Gastric fever/ram epididymitis and Contagious abortion/spontaneous abortion.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Escherichia coli

Detection test kit of Escherichia coli by using qPCR. Some E. coli are pathogenic, meaning they can cause illness, either diarrhea or illness outside of the intestinal tract. The types of E. coli that can cause diarrhea can be transmitted through contaminated water or food, or through contact with animals or persons.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Leptospira spp.

Leptospira species detection test kit by using qPCR. Leptospira is a genus of bacteria that causes Leptospirosis (also known as Weil’s syndrome, canicola fever, canefield fever, nanukayami fever, 7-day fever, Rat Catcher’s Yellows, Fort Bragg fever, black jaundice, and Pretibial fever) and affects humans as well as other animals. The infection is commonly transmitted to humans by allowing water that has been contaminated by animal urine to come in contact with unhealed breaks in the skin, the eyes, or the mucous membranes.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Streptococcus spp.

Streptococcus spp. detection test kit by using qPCR. Streptococcus are not pathogenic and form part of the commensal microbiota of the mouth, skin, intestine, and upper respiratory tract. However, some Streptococcus species infect a barrage of different animals, including humans, with diseases such as pink eye, meningitis, bacterial pneumonia, endocarditis, erysipelas and necrotizing fasciitis. Some of these relevant pathogenic species are S. agalactiae, S. dysgalactiae, S. bovis, S. suis, S. pneumoniae or S. gallolyticus.
