Rapid Test for Soy - food and surfaces

Dip-stick tests for the allergen Soy in food, rinsing water and working surfaces. The kits contain all materials required for running the test. Can be used for food, rinsing water and working surfaces.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Rapid test for Soy is a qualitative immunochromatographic test, in strip format, to detect soy proteins using the soy protein β-conglycinin (β-CG) as an indicator in food, rinse water and working surfaces. The β-CG accounts for about 30% of the total seed proteins, and has been shown to be a potential indicator for severe allergic reactions to soy.
The test is based on the detection of the β-CG, which reacts with a specific antibody coated to red particles in the strip. The appearance of two lines, red and blue, on the strip test is a positive result.
