Horizontal and vertical laminar flow chambers

Laminar flow chambers are designed to restrict an enclosed workspace in the laboratory with forced air circulation inside. The airflow passing through a HEPA filter protects the operator and the working sample from contamination. There are horizontal laminar flow chambers (direction of filtered air horizontally, ensuring protection of the biological materials handled) and vertical laminar flow (direction of filtered air downwards vertically, guaranteeing operator protection against possible risk contaminants). Equipped with long-lasting white light lamps and UV lamps for sterilization.


HORIZONTAL LAMINAR FLOW CHAMBERS
Horizontal laminar flow chambers with manual or automatic operation. Polycarbonate front panel and stainless steel work surface. They have an LCD control screen and include white light lamp, UV sterilization lamp (30W) and power socket inside. Optical and audible filter clogging alarm. "Autocheck" and error detection system. Microprocessor control of air flow, lighting and fan operating hours counter.

- Horizontal laminar air flow velocity from 0.25 to 0.50 m/s;

- Noise level lower than 57 dB;

VERTICAL LAMINAR FLOW CHAMBERS
Vertical laminar flow chambers with manual or automatic operation. Full front panel with half-height opening via hinges, stainless steel work surface, side walls and rear safety glass. They have an LCD control screen and include white light bulb, and power socket inside on some models. Optical and audible filter clogging alarm. "Autocheck" and error detection system. Microprocessor control of air flow, lighting and fan operating hours counter.

- Vertical laminar air flow velocity of 0.35 m/s;

VERTICAL LAMINAR FLOW CHAMBERS
Vertical laminar flow cabinets ideal for handling non-pathogenic samples, cell and tissue cultures. High efficiency fan with operating hours counter and partial recirculation of filtered air, for longer life of HEPA filters and pre-filters. They have digital control by microprocessor and two power sockets.

Specifications:
- Sterilization with UV lamp (30W) and white light for lighting;
- 15 min UV light timer;
- Vertical laminar air flow velocity of 0.40 ±20 % m/s;
- HEPA main filter with 99.999% efficiency on particles larger or equal to 0.3 µm (class H14 according to EN1822);
- Pre-filter with an efficiency of 85% for particles larger or equal to 0.5 µm (class G14 according to EN779);
- Noise level lower than 60 dB;
- Available accessories (not included) such as: table to support the camera, vacuum valve and gas valve, front closure with UV lamp, HEPA filter and pre-filters;
