Detection of the 16S rRNA gene of Paenibacillus larvae

Background: American foulbrood (AFB) is a bacterial brood disease of honeybees caused by the Grampositive and spore-forming bacterium Paenibacillus larvae. The disease is transferred and initiated only by the spore stage of the bacterium. Spores infect young bee larvae, then the spores germinate in the gut of the larva and the vegetative form of the bacteria begins to grow, taking its nourishment from the larva. Infected larvae normally die after their cell is sealed. The vegetative form of the bacterium produces many millions of spores, which may remain dormant for many years.

Description: BactoReal® Kit American Foulbrood 1.1 uses real-time PCR for the detection of the 16S rRNA gene of Paenibacillus larvae. Our carefully designed primers and probe ensure highest sensitivity and specificity. The kit consists of an assay mix for the detection of the pathogen as well as a positive control and an internal positive control (IPC). To minimize PCR cross-contamination,the reaction mix included contains dUTP and uracil-N glycosylase (UNG) to minimize PCR cross-contamination.

Product Features:
- Amplification and detection: 16S rRNA gene of Paenibacillus larvae
- Real-time PCR with rapid hot-start Taq DNA polymerase
- ROX™ dye as passive reference

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Mycobacterium bovis

Mycobacterium bovis detection test kit by using qPCR. Mycobacterium bovis is the agent responsible for bovine tuberculosis, however, it can also cause the disease in humans if there is the consumption of infected milk. The pathology of M. bovis is similar to M. tuberculosis in humans, causing chronic debilitation, coughing, and further spread to other organs.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Weaned Pig Diarrhoea GeneExpres Panel (fedA faeG eae and toxA from Escherichia coli)

Evaluate the expression of four virulence factors (fedA, faeG, eae and toxA from Escherichia coli) by using qPCR. toxA, coding for the heat-labile enterotoxin (LT); eae, coding for the intimine; fedA, coding for the F18 fimbriae and faeG, coding for the F4 fimbriae. Post-weaning diarrhea is an important enteric disease that usually occurs shortly after weaning and is characterized by watery diarrhea, dehydration, loss of body weight, and the death of infected pigs. This diarrhea is responsible for important economic losses due to mortality, morbidity, decreased growth rate and cost of medication. Escherichia coli is one of the most important causes of the increasing worldwide outbreaks of post-weaning diarrhea, causing sudden death or severe diarrhoea. The PCR identification of virulence factors of E. coli from fecal samples is normally used for the diagnosis of pathogenic isolates.
