Magnetic Stirrers

Magnetic stirrers are laboratory equipment used to mix liquid solutions homogeneously. They work through a magnetic field that rotates a small magnetic bar (stirring bar) placed inside the container with the liquid.

Specifications of the various models available:
- Speed range (rpm) from 60 to 3000 rpm. What is the desired speed?
- Stirring plate size: 150 mm (round), 12.7 x 17.8 cm (rectangular) or 27 x 21 cm (rectangular). Is this relevant?
- Do you require temperature control?
- Do you require a ceramic plate that reaches temperatures up to 550 °C and is resistant to strong acids, or a metal plate up to 330 °C with good chemical resistance?
- With or without an external probe?
- Allows independent stirring of up to 4 flasks. Is this relevant?
