Detection of Hop latent viroid (HLVd) in Cannabis or other plant samples. The BIOPREMIER SUPREME RT-PCR Detection Kit HLVd combines a reverse transcriptase with a multiplex qPCR assay to simultaneously detect HLVd and an Internal Control. The kit is suitable for use in real time instruments with FAM and Cy5 detection channels.

BACKGROUND:
Hop latent viroid (HLVd) is a single-stranded, circular infectious RNA that is dependent on its host plant’s metabolism for replication. HLVd infection occurs worldwide in hops (Humulus lupulus) but it can also infect the cannabis plant. The HLVd-infected plants don’t show obvious symptoms of infection but instead grow shorter with smaller leaves, which reduce the production of certain cultivars. HLVd is usually spread via infected tools or through cloning (cuttings taken from an infected mother).
Because symptoms of these viruses are not always obvious, regularly screening by qPCR is the key to isolating the infected plants from their growing area to prevent the spread of the virus throughout the productive field.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: SUPREME REAL TIME DETECTION KIT HLVd uses Reverse Transcriptase (RT) real-time PCR for the detection of HLVd in a simple, reliable, and rapid procedure. The assay combines a reverse transcriptase with a multiplex qPCR assay based on 5’ nuclease real time PCR reactions to amplify a unique genomic sequence of each target. Our carefully designed primers and probe ensure the highest sensitivity and specificity. The kit consists of an assay mix for detecting the targets, a positive control, and internal control (IC).To minimize PCR cross-contamination, the Kit contains dUTP and uracil-N glycosylase (UDG).

PRODUCT FEATURES:
-Amplification and detection of HLVd
-Transcription ensured by the enzyme Reverse transcriptase

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Spiroplasma citri

Detection test kit of Spiroplasma citri species by using qPCR. Spiroplasma citri is the causative agent of Citrus stubborn disease in plants and can be found either in the gut or hemolymph of insects (vector) or in the phloem of plants.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Citrus exocortis viroid (CEVd)

Detection test kit of all serotypes of Citrus exocortis viroid species by using qPCR. Citrus exocortis viroid is easily transmitted mechanically. It infects many species in the Rutaceae and a few in the Solanaceae and Compositae. Citrus exocortis viroid is responsible for exocortis disease, other names for the disease are ‘scaly butt’ and ‘Rangpur lime disease’. Disease symptoms develop when infected budwood is grown on susceptible rootstocks, and trees become stunted and yield poorly.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Monilinia laxa

Monilinia laxa detection test kit by using qPCR. Monilinia laxa is responsible for the brown rot blossom blight disease that infects many different types of stone fruit trees, such as apricots, cherries and peaches. M. laxa can colonize blossoms, twigs and fruit, but is generally considered more of a problem on blossoms and twigs.

Real Time PCR Detection Kit Ralstonia solanacearum

Ralstonia solanacearum detection test kit by using qPCR. Ralstonia solanacearum colonizes the xylem, causing bacterial wilt in a very wide range of potential host plants such as potato, tomato, aubergine, banana, geranium, ginger, tobacco, sweet pepper, olive, rose, and soybean. R. solanacearum usually enters the plant by a wound.
