BactoReal® Kit Klebsiella pneumoniae

DVEB06711
qPCR / Real Time PCR/ PCR
Ingenetix
100 or 50 reactions

Background: Klebsiella is a Gram-negative, facultative anaerobic bacterium with a prominent polysaccharide capsule in the family Enterobacteriaceae. Members of this genus cause pneumonia and urogenital infections in carnivores and ungulates, mastitis in ruminants and pigs, enterocolitis in rabbits and sporadic septicaemia in a number of species.

Description: BactoReal® Kit Klebsiella uses real-time PCR for the detection of the hemolysin gene of Klebsiella pneumoniae, K. variicola, K. oxytoca and K. aerogenes. Our carefully designed primers and probe ensure highest sensitivity and specificity. The kit consists of an assay mix for the detection of the pathogen as well as a positive control and an internal positive control (IPC). To minimize PCR cross-contamination,the reaction mix included contains dUTP and uracil-N glycosylase (UNG).

Product Features:
